Our volunteers provide support in a variety of ways; transport to medical appointments, lunch clubs, supermarket or hairdresser. We will also do shopping for residents who are unable to do so themselves, and we can visit people who are housebound.

Entertainment and outings are provided by a number of clubs and organisations within Croydon and the surrounding areas.These can be easily accessed and more information can be obtained by contacting AGE UK or by calling the groups personally.
Lunch Clubs are available to elderly people where they can eat a cut price healthy meal aswell as socialise with other people who attend,who may feel isolated and in need of company.Other activities may also take place at these clubs,so look further to find any local clubs of interest.
If you cannot afford to pay for your journey to a hospital or clinic for NHS-funded treatment, you may be able to claim back your travel costs under the Healthcare Travel Costs Scheme. Some local volunteer groups can offer help with transport/lifts
