Upper Norwood Association for Community Care (UNACC)

UNACC offers a wide range of activities including: Exercise Classes, Yoga, Art classes and IT support. We have regular Bingo sessions, Table Tennis, Scrabble, Table Games, Reminiscence. Day outings during the summer months.

Also available are regular visits by appointment from a Hairdresser, Health and beauty therapists, Croydon Hearing Resource Centre.

Other services offered on an ad hoc basis include: Befriending, Letter writing, Help with form filling etc.

Service Definitions

Day Centres enable older people to remain in the community by maintaining or improving the quality of life of the older person - or their carer - through social contact and therapeutic activities. Specialist day centre providing a service to those over 65 with mild to moderate dementia 3 days per week and those under 65 with dementia 2 days per week. You should contact Croydon Council, Social Services for Adults for a full care needs assessment.
